O.M.G. I have a SEVERE case of O.C.D!!!

Obsessive.Cullen.Disorder.

I saw Twilight last night. I loved it. Absolutely loved it. It did move a bit faster than the actual book, but hey, it was still what I expected. But what I didn't expect, and call me stupid, was all of the screaming, laughing, cheering, clapping and talking people behind me!

They took away from my movie! Seriously. I mean, it was like being at a concert, anytime Edward swooped in and did something very Edward-like the entire crowd would ohhh and ahhhh and cheer like we were at a concert and Edward was right there in real life. Yes, I know this is a huge sign that I am getting old, right? LOL But some of the parts where the line or the action deserved a little chuckle, got all out laughs, like it was an Adam Sandler movie, and it kind of lost that feeling that I would get while reading the book.

So, I definitely plan on seeing the movie again, once the hype has worn off, like in the middle of the day when kids SHOULD be at school, LOL And trust me, I WILL be buying the DVD and most likely will be watching it all the time!

I absolutely loved it, tho! Despite the extra sound effects from the young crowd!

So I didn't read the post...but wanted to comment. I still have to read the books, so I'm avoiding the movie until I do that. Which of course means I'm probably going to see the movie on dvd, but we'll see.

I haven't read the books, but maybe I'll sneak off and go see the movie by myself when I need a little time to myself.

Middle of the day should be just about right. :-)

Now you are really making me want to hurry up and read the books. I don't like to see movies before reading. But than again may make this an exception.

My 13-year-old shared the same experience (though she contributed). A quiet afternoon at the movies sounds like heaven!!

LOL
I have to laugh because many of the blogs I like to read are talking about the movie. I can't wait to see it!!!
I spent most of yesterday evening reading book #4 and my oldest finally told me to take a break. He said I'd be sad if I finished it in one day. He's right.

I was a little disappointed in the movie. And it didn't help that I had pretty much the same experience as you. Those 13 year old girls drove me CRAZY!

I think I need to get on the Twilight Bandwagon. Although I hear that the movie is not so much like the books...is this true?
