Day One of Teacher Appreciation Week

Keep your fingers crossed that, for the most part, people do what they said they would do!

I have already started my gift card arrangement with the four gift cards I've gotten. The class was supposed to send them in by last Friday, but I only have four. I did have one Mom (she also happens to be Reese's teacher) call last night and ask me to meet her in the morning, I pass her every morning on the way to Griffey's class anyway. So there is another one, and I am supposed to meet another kid in the cafeteria to pick his up. So hopefully it will turn out. I think I did a cute job, if I do say so myself. Even if this is all that he gets today, I don't think he will be too upset, the total is $55.00, and I really have an extra $40 a parent gave me, so I can swing in and put another card towards it today, or use it towards anything else this week! He should have a great week! I hope anyway:)

I also decorated the vase for Reese's teacher, and will fill it with the flowers the class is supposed to bring in this morning. Keep your fingers crossed that they do bring some in!! Sixth grade students aren't the best at giving their parents the notes sent home, I'm quite sure the only reason I got mine was that I typed it up myself, LOL I will take a picture of the finished product after the flowers are all in it at school! Right now its hard to get the jist of it. It says on it We (heart) Mrs. Hopkin's.

What a great idea Lynette! I'm starting to feel a nudge inside to do some fun stuff for the people at Ben's school! lol
