Christmas In February!!!

Yup! I got to celebrate Christmas again today!! First off, let me thank Kori for organizing the Secret Santa Shindig, and then of course....my new Secret Santa...Jody! She totally made my day! This week has not been the world's best....but she really brightened it!

Thank you, Jody, you totally ROCK and I absolutely LOVE everything so so so so much!!!

I'm so glad it's Friday!

I hate cold weather. I think this has been established. This week has been bitter cold, I mean, for Florida anyway, LOL I hate having to get out in it daily, to take Griffey to school and then to pick him up So, I'm really ready for 2:00 today. I'm ready to park the car and NOT drive when it's cold! LOL

I'll always remember this winter as...

The winter of ILLNESS! UGH!

I swear, one of the kids, or even one of us, has been sick since, probably the first cold snap this winter! I know it's not just our family, I know other people that have said the same thing, but it is still driving me crazy!

Yesterday I came home from dropping Griffey off to school and was met by Reese, who was sick...complained of his eye's hurting when he blinked and looked out to the side, Mother of the Year, simply told him not to do either, lol But he also had a stomach ache as well as a fever...can't very well just stop those on command, can you? LOL

I talked to a couple people at Griffey's school yesterday, and their family had similar symptoms soooo, great, we have successfully got another strand of whatever is going around! You would almost think this was a competition....however, this is one I do not want to win! LOL

Wow, it's been awhile!

And I really don't know why exactly! I guess I got busy with that thing called life! LOL

I will say that I've been busy with a new computer, a mac, that is way more complicated than my Dell. I guess it's true, you have to be smarter than what you are working with, huh? LOL But I have been spending so much time getting the pictures off of the Dell, so we can clean it out and use it strictly for work. And well, if anyone knows me, they know I have a small addiction to pictures, so that was no easy task! LOL

I hear that Super Bowl was a great game last night! I say I HEAR because I was banned to the bedroom, being a Steelers fan did not allow me access to watch! LOL I, apparently have a "kiss of death" on my teams, so I was allowed to watch until the Cardinals did something good, and well, then I was told to leave...therefore I missed all of the BIG plays! I did, however, hear them, thanks to Randy & Griffey, LOL

Reese did tell me I could watch with them, but before you think how sweet, he wanted the Cardinals to win....so he was using my kiss of death in his favor, LOL

Report Card Time!!

Yup, that is what his report card said yesterday! I should be proud, I mean...who needs grades to get by in life, right?

A friend told me he needs to be well liked by his peers, so he has a couch to sleep on after he gets out of high school, LOL Yup, yup, yup....so true, lol

Don't get me wrong, he didn't make horrible grades, just not what he is capable of, he's a very smart boy, just not very uh, motivated, LOL But hey, what am I complaining about?! He is very well liked by his peers, right? LOL

Is it really Monday?!

I'm not digging it. I was not ready to get up! But I guess I do not have much of a choice, do I? Someone has to get these kids to school, right?

Not a whole lot going on this week, at least at this current moment, that is subject to change, as we all know, right? LOL

I haven't posted about this yet, and will, just wanted to get the details, but please keep Griffey's friend, Emily, in your prayers, she was diagnosed last week with leukemia. She got to come home for the weekend, but is heading back to the hospital tomorrow. I will do a post when I get all of the details, but please, please, please keep her in your thoughts & prayers!
